    We will not send genetic results or other sensitive medical information via standard text message.

    Consent for SMS/MMS Communications

    Providing your mobile phone number does not by itself enroll you in text messages. You are enrolled only if you check the separate text message consent box on our contact form, which is unchecked by default, or sign the Text Message Consent Form in your new patient packet. Enrolling is always optional. Consent is not a condition of receiving care or any other service from SequenceMD.

    Once enrolled, you may receive appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, scheduling and rescheduling notices, and general clinic notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.     Privacy and Data Security

    We are committed to ensuring the security of your personal information.

    • Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing categories described above; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the messaging program, solely to deliver the service and under confidentiality obligations.

    • Your information is used solely for communication and care coordination in compliance with all applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA.

    Opt-Out and Help

    • To opt out of receiving SMS/MMS messages, reply STOP to any text message from us.
    • For assistance, reply HELP or contact our office directly.

    Opting out of text messaging will not affect your ability to receive care at SequenceMD.
